A WOMAN has claimed she had a “disastrous” experience after buying Wowcher’s £99 Mystery Holiday deal.
E-Commerce deal site Wowcher offers an incredibly cheap holiday deal, where buyers are given the opportunity to vacation all over the world for just £99.

After purchasing the holiday voucher, buyers are put into a raffle and are then allocated a destination to visit.
Angel Bryantt revealed that she was given a two-day trip to Marrakech, Morocco.
In a TikTok video she said: “I do think it is a bit of a scam.
“Nine times out of ten you are going to be paying a lot more than £99”.
Angel claimed that when Wowcher gave her her flight times, they were at “ridiculous” times, meaning that she would only get one full day in the north African country.
She alleged that Wowcher told her that for £30 extra each, she and her friend could be upgraded to more convenient flight times and a better hotel.
However, when the pair got to Marrakech, Angel claimed that they discovered that their hotel didn’t even exist.
She said that when they got to the address that had been given to them by Wowcher, there was “absolutely nothing there”.
Angel alleged that she and her friend then had to fork out loads of extra cash to stay in a brand new hotel.
“I wouldn’t recommend anyone to book this”, she said.
Angel’s video, which was posted under the username, @angelbryant has gone viral, racking up almost 500,000 views in just a few hours.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, some of whom had had similar experiences to Angel.
One person said: “We did this and ended up paying double the amount, it’s cheaper to do last-minute holidays with Tui”.

Another person said: “It’s such a waste of money.
“I’ve ended up paying £450 for two people for two nights”.
However, some people shared positive experiences they had had with the holiday.
One person said: “Me and my sister got Portugal for three days.
“It was amazing”.
Another person added: “That’s crazy because my sister did this and got Malta and ended up having a great experience.”
A spokesperson for Wowcher said: “Since launch of our Mystery Holidays, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback on these experiences, so we are concerned by Ms Bryantt’s.
“As per the terms and conditions listed in our Mystery Holiday deals, selected flights and 3* hotels only are covered as part of the deal, and it is made clear to customers in our fine print that any changes may incur additional surcharges. As Ms Bryannt says in her TikTok she agreed with the merchant to upgrade her flights for an addition £39 each.
“We have spoken to the merchant and confirmed that Ms Bryant was booked into this hotel – RIAD FATOUMA https://riad-fatouma-marrakech.at-hotels.com/en/ – which thankfully does exist.
“Ms Bryantt did not contact either Wowcher or the merchant whilst she was away nor has she reached out since returning. If we had known about the issues finding the hotel we would have been more than happy to help.”
